Hello All - my name is Jason Merson and I am excited that Todd has asked me to chronicle my daily Life Plus business activities with all of you visiting his blog. Before I share today's activities though, I want to emphasize the meaning of the title I chose, "The Beauty of Flexibility."
You see, I'm a very busy person by choice and have always had my hand in many pots so to speak. As I'm sure many of you have and are in similar situations, ie. full-time jobs, family responsibilities, hobbies, kids games, community activities, church activities, etc. The remarkable thing about this business is the flexibility in how, when and where you conduct business. One of the main things to consider is that you have the potential to work anywhere at any time.
I'll give you a quick for instance. Today I had planned on getting up early, doing my morning ritual of devotions, exercise and getting my little guy off to school and spending the rest of the morning focused on the business before my wife arrived home from her part-time job. Things changed when I got a call from a friend who installed the sound system for my church. We recently had a problem with some speakers and this morning was the only morning he had available to work on the speakers. I chose to meet him at my church to assist him which took all morning. The morning was not a wash though because my friend brought someone with him to help us remove the speakers. During common conversations between us three the topic of health and wellness surfaced, (as it normally does if you have ears to hear). One thing led to another and I was eventually able to provide the man with information about what I do. He was very interested in learning more about our products and we exchanged emails so I could send him more information.
After finishing that project, I had lunch with my daughter who is home from college. After lunch I arrived home to begin my work in my home office at 1:00p.m. I had planned early on that I would block out 3 hours to work on my business. I've recently been scheduling my time working through, "The Process." To break that down I set aside two thirds of my time in approaching while the other third is spent in providing information to people, following up with prospects and servicing my clients who are on the product.
Knowing it was getting late in the day and I had not written this blog yet, I thought it would be a good idea to write the blog prior to starting my calls so I could report the results to you tomorrow. Stay tuned for a report on the rest of my day in tomorrows blog.
Until then....
Jason
