Create the Quality of life you want

Welcome! My name is Todd Burrier. Over two decades ago I was blessed to have been laid off in the banking industry during a time of economic upheaval. This led me to search for a way to have more control over my own future. I wound up in the home business world. After seven hard years of lessons and personal growth, I found a way to build a highly successful business from home, using some very basic and simple human principles. I have since been able to mentor many people on the path to a better life through creating a home based income stream. This blog is dedicated to helping anyone in a networking style business succeed. I will be sharing proven concepts for growing and leading a successful business. Anyone who is nice, honest, and committed to succeeding can do what I teach. If there are any topics you specifically would like me to address as we go along, just let me know. To comment on any posting mouse over next to the time of the post.

The Attitude of Success

Last week I had the privelege of spending time with a women named Renate in Franfurt, Germany. She is a single mother of two young men, one of which now lives on his own and the other is around 20 years old. She works in a large retail shop, and also works in a restaurant, as well as takes care of her household, and apparently feeds her boys:-) quite often. She is very busy...but not too busy to work her business every spare minute she can. She has one of the best attitudes of anyone I have ever spent time around.

Her business is steadily growing and has reached a point where she can cut back a little on the other jobs, because her income from her business has grown to a point where it is becoming substantial...its not a full time income yet...but its just a matter of time. Do you know why it is a certainty that she will have a fulltime income in the coming year or two? I'll give you a hint...It's not because she is a master presenter, or has financial backing to promote in a special way, and it has nothing to do with her product knowledge or business knowledge or mastery of technology.

It is purely her attitude and persistence. This is a woman who has been through much adversity in her life and has at times had to scratch and claw just to feed her boys, and yet she constantly has a smile on her face and a laughter in her voice. She doesn't care who says no...she has had life say no to her so many times she just laughs at the word...her simple niceness is like a magnet. I did a meeting for her with a room full of very high quality people...many of whom would be her boss in a traditional job that was based on pedigree and experience...but all of whom are grateful to have the opportunity to be in HER organization. Persistence and a great attitude...both of which are choices anyone can make...will take you to the top and when you get there you will be standing right next to the smiling face of Renate.
