Create the Quality of life you want

Welcome! My name is Todd Burrier. Over two decades ago I was blessed to have been laid off in the banking industry during a time of economic upheaval. This led me to search for a way to have more control over my own future. I wound up in the home business world. After seven hard years of lessons and personal growth, I found a way to build a highly successful business from home, using some very basic and simple human principles. I have since been able to mentor many people on the path to a better life through creating a home based income stream. This blog is dedicated to helping anyone in a networking style business succeed. I will be sharing proven concepts for growing and leading a successful business. Anyone who is nice, honest, and committed to succeeding can do what I teach. If there are any topics you specifically would like me to address as we go along, just let me know. To comment on any posting mouse over next to the time of the post.

Approach: Product or Business?

So...should you run right out and invite people into your opportunity or should you start by building your customer base?

It's your business and your choice...you can do it either way...but let me offer you some things to consider.

Remember, my perspective is about helping you grow something that will provide you income for life. True income that is ongoing comes from the movement of your product/service to a consumer. You are payed in the long run on volume.

What you are building is a network of people that use your product/service. This is where the long term passive style income is generated. If you want this income to be large then you will need other people in your organization who are growing customer bases.

It starts with you though. What did McDonalds sell first...hamburgers or Franchises?

Can you imagine if Ray Kroc (McDonald's Franchise founder) had said, "Hey, I have this amazing franchise opportunity and you need to invest and get started right away!" BEFORE he proved that people would buy the burgers?

Perhaps if he already had amazing business credibility and everyone knew that whatever he did was a winner, he could try an approach like that, but...that's not how it went.

So what about you...do you have a well-known business accumen? Do you have business credibility? Do you have a track record? If you do, then you are what I call a 1%er. You can share your business opportunity from your opening minute and you won't get your emotional teeth kicked in by people telling you how stupid you are...but if you are in the 99% group you may want to approach things this way...
