NOT your problem

Sometimes when you are approaching someone with the business you will get a less than favorable response. I have had people tell me that "these things don't work" or "I'm not interested in those pyramid things." In my early days I used to take it personally and worse, question myself. I eventually got past these responses and simply chalked it up to their ignorance...which is not my problem.



The great thing about the approach I teach, is that because it is non-pressure, respectful, and without hype, it is not often that you will recieve this kind of response...but it will happen. Just be clear, this kind of response is a reflection of the other person's limiting beliefs about themselves and their lack of knowledge...it has nothing to do with you or your opportunity.



It's quite obvious to anyone with a fully functioning brain and any kind of economic awareness that "these things work!" The home based industry does hundreds of Billions of dollars worldwide and is now taught and talked about in most schools of business in some fashion or another. Amway, which has been the butt of countless jokes for years, is an 8 Billion dollar company...I guess while people have been laughing at them...they have been laughing all the way to the bank. The reality is that the home business industry is still in it's infancy. The future will be dominated by home businesses...almost like a return to the roots so to speak when centuries ago it was up to each household to create their own economic viability or else be subservient to someone else. This is clearly what is taking place.

When I started 21 years ago, it was rare to have someone in your community with a successful home business. Now it is common...and in the future it will be necessary for most people if they want some element of economic control. Technology has made it easier and it will only continue to become easier to get started and established.

The other ridiculous one is the pyramid comment. Seriously...how blind can someone be? Everything is structured like a pyramid. The difference is that in a home business, no one is limited within the structure, nor does anyone have a financial advantage over anyone else. It is truly productivity driven. I earn more than the people who introduced me to the business. I have people in my organization who earn more than the 3 or 4 people above them combined!

This is beautiful and the way it should be. Can you imagine this happening in a traditional corporate or government pyramid? This is a wonderful way to make a living and design a life. Never allow someone else's limitation become your limitation.
