Occassionally I will share stories about my own building activities both because it helps example the things I teach and also to let you know I do what I say (some people teach because they don't "do"...I "do" and then teach it:-)
Yesterday I was meeting with someone for the second time, who is now going to move forward in building her business. After our first meeting I gave her a copy of "The Process" book with the understanding that if, after reading it, she didn't want to pursue the business, I would get it back. In my opinion, anyone expressing interest in moving forward should be given the book to read because it helps them fully understand the simplicity of it all and that they can do it, and how!
Now, I said it was our 2nd meeting...but actually it was our second meeting THIS time around. We met for the first time over 2 years ago. It wasn't the right time for her then, and I respected her and her decision. I never made her feel bad about it whenever we saw each other, I simply let it be. Things changed in her life and during a conversation at an event I basically asked her if she would be open to learning about what we are doing again, and of course there would be no pressure. She knew this would be true because I had exampled this behavior for 2- 1/2 years. She felt safe to learn...so that led to our first meeting.
The key thing I want to share, besides the obvious of what I have already said...is that she looked at me across the table in the coffee shop yesterday, and said "it really works." She was speaking about "The Process" because she realized that she was sitting there ready to move forward because of the way it works. What a cool thing. She already has full understanding of how she can do it on a conceptual level! Now all I have to do is show her what tools are where (although she has already watched the Million Lives Team page Webinars and heard the Antidote) and be there for her questions as she begins sharing...it is this simple...anyone could do what I did with her. She has No true understanding of my success in the business or the complexities of the compensation plan (I did not share eother one)...She is involved because she has a need and felt safe to learn and then had the right tools to learn from. You can do the same as many times as you want...that is all there is to the front side of the business!
