Create the Quality of life you want

Welcome! My name is Todd Burrier. Over two decades ago I was blessed to have been laid off in the banking industry during a time of economic upheaval. This led me to search for a way to have more control over my own future. I wound up in the home business world. After seven hard years of lessons and personal growth, I found a way to build a highly successful business from home, using some very basic and simple human principles. I have since been able to mentor many people on the path to a better life through creating a home based income stream. This blog is dedicated to helping anyone in a networking style business succeed. I will be sharing proven concepts for growing and leading a successful business. Anyone who is nice, honest, and committed to succeeding can do what I teach. If there are any topics you specifically would like me to address as we go along, just let me know. To comment on any posting mouse over next to the time of the post.

Stay True

"The major value in life is not what you get. The major value in life is what you become. That is why I wish to pay fair price for every value. If I have to pay for it or earn it, that makes something of me. If I get it for free, that makes nothing of me."-Jim Rohn

I read this again this morning and couldn't resist sharing it with you. While this could apply in all things, lets look at it in one context today. In your business, there will be times when you will be tempted to short-cut the process to success. This would be natural. After all, you will be impatient, you will have some frustrations, and you will have disappointments...just as surely as you will have great days, and periods where everything goes perfectly.

YOUR process is your process. No one else's. You are on your own growth journey in your business and yourself. You cannot short-cut it. If you short-cut anything in life, you short cut the learning and the growth... this is not worth any measure of increase. Whatever your price is for your success, you must pay it in full.

Be very careful of people who ask you to sacrifice your values for a promise of more, faster. Always be true to yourself. Those who try to get the full helping of success in life, but only want to pay half-price, end up with very little in substance, growth, and outcome. You know these people. The people who every six to twelve months are coming to you with the latest way to get rich quick. You deserve better. Your family deserves better. You can succeed at whatever level you want, but you have to pay the full price.
