I am at this moment blogging in an airport as I wait for my flight home. How times have changed. A year ago I didn't even know the word blog! And to put it in the same sentence as airport would have been unthinkable...especially if you included the word me!
The event was incredible, and last night it culminated with a banquet. The thing that rang the loudest among the people, was the people. This is something that doesn't get talked about enough when we are sharing the business possibility with someone.
The day to day traditional office world is full of negativity. Gossip, back-biting, undermining, covering ones backside, and all kinds of other derogatory behavior abound. In our business you are constantly exposed to nice, honest, positive people who would bend over backwards to help you...and I am not simply talking about your sponsor. This is the tone of the environment. Family and community are major values that are honored and promoted. I would take a group of people working in our business, regardless of their background, over any group of corporate managers you could ever show me. We do business in the way it should be done. Help, serve , and add value to other people, and then the benefits flow back to you...but you give first...how refereshing is that in a "take" society?
Over and over this weekend I was reminded of this by the interaction of this group of people who previously did not know each other. By the end of the weekend, the trust and the bonds were enormous...how can this happen so fast? Because like-minded people enjoy each other's company, and when they are service oriented, honest, and kind, now they multiply the enjoyment of fellowship with the people around them. The relationships, and the quality of people in our business are unmatched...don't hesitate to share this with people.
