Create the Quality of life you want

Welcome! My name is Todd Burrier. Over two decades ago I was blessed to have been laid off in the banking industry during a time of economic upheaval. This led me to search for a way to have more control over my own future. I wound up in the home business world. After seven hard years of lessons and personal growth, I found a way to build a highly successful business from home, using some very basic and simple human principles. I have since been able to mentor many people on the path to a better life through creating a home based income stream. This blog is dedicated to helping anyone in a networking style business succeed. I will be sharing proven concepts for growing and leading a successful business. Anyone who is nice, honest, and committed to succeeding can do what I teach. If there are any topics you specifically would like me to address as we go along, just let me know. To comment on any posting mouse over next to the time of the post.

What is your Vision?

"Where there is no vision the people perish." This famous proverb is true on so many different levels. Without vision, there is little to inspire someone to get off of the couch. There is no beacon to help make the way through difficult times. There is magnification of the small stuff, instead of seeing the big picture. What is your vision?

I have a vision to make a million lives better. This is what drives my activities. It's why I blog. It's why I write books. It's why I share my message of health. It's why I share my message of "The Process." It's why I am constantly thinking about what I can create that can help others in life and in my business. I am certainly not a saint. I would love to be able to write here that I am purely altruistic all the time, but that would be untrue. I am a human being and I too get caught up in selfish thinking, and little things that drive me crazy (that shouldn't). However, having this vision helps to keep me grounded. It helps me to come back from selfish thinking much more quickly than in my past. What is your vision?

I can honestly say that I am not sure how my vision is going to come about. I know what I think and what I do, but truly...I am just a man with a vision who is trying my best. BUT, having said this, my vision has me constantly striving. It keeps me consistently doing what I know works, while I work on new ideas. Having a vision allows me to be open to possibilities to improve and keeps me from being stuck in "thats just the way it is thinking" or "this is the way I've always done it thinking." What is your vision?

My approach is genuine. I love to help others. There are few things in the world that feel better to me. Ironically, this is one place where selfishness is an attribute. If it is selfish to want to feel good and to achieve it by helping others, than this is how I want to be selfish. Of course I have personal desires and needs, but it is true that if you help enough other people get what they want, you will get what you need. I believe that if I help a million people, I'll probably do okay too...its been true so far, so I am guessing it will be true to an even greater extent, in the future. What is your vision?

This is a great time of the year to get clear on your vision for the coming year and beyond. Anytime is a good time to cultivate your vision, but this time of the year lends itself to reflection. Its a time of year of hope and dreams. When we all can see the new beginning of another year. This symbolism is important for refreshing ourselves. What is your vision?

As you think about your goals for the new year...think in terms of the bigger picture of your vision. Let next years goals be simply a step towards your ultimate vision. Make your vision much bigger than yourself. Remember, you are unique and special. You were placed on this earth to make a contribution with your gifts. Don't let a lack of vision keep you from making a difference. Don't let adversities, and the small thinking of those around you hold you back. Create your vision and work faithfully towards this bigger picture and enjoy the amazing journey of life that is part of having a vision that is bigger than self. What is your vision?
