Beach thoughts 2...

As I walk on the beach in the morning, I keep thinking about the phrase "See you on the beaches of the world."

When I first got into the business this was the sign-off line I heard so often...and it is still used today. It's a nice concept for everyone who is growing their business to be in a position some day to simply spend their days on the beaches of the world...the challenge is that it creates an unrealistic expectation.

I don't mean that it is not achievable. Anyone can achieve it if they treat people right and are dedicated and focused for a long enough period of time. This is a business where you need to take a tiny step at a time to grow your way into the belief that you CAN be on the beaches of the world (if that is your goal).

97% of the population have never made a 6 figure income in their life...just because they have started a business with unlimited future earning potential and they are excited about that, they don't really believe deep down that they will achieve it because there is nothing in their history and experiences to support this belief.

This is why I am so adamant about NO HYPE! This is a real business that anyone can grow into, but they have to have proper expectations to continue to move forward...if they don't, they will quit as soon as it gets difficult because their true belief is that it won't work out anyway.

You focus on earning your first $100 check...then you can believe you can get to $300, then $500..and so on. You grow your belief along with your check...Remember, the greatest journeys are made of the small steps.
